4.46 Coolant pump toothed belt: Checking
Procedure
– Loosen hose clips -1, 2- and remove air pipe.
– Free air hose from air pipe.
– Disconnect electrical connector -1-.
– Release catches -arrows- and remove air pipe.
– Press release tabs and disconnect hose -1- for activated char‐
coal filter.
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove crankcase breather hose.
Note
♦
If one or both O-rings are damaged, renew crankcase breather
hose.
♦
Moisten new O-rings with engine oil when installing.
