8.3 Replacing the canister
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns when handling chemicals
Ø Observe the danger and safety notes on the canister and safety data sheet.
Ø Wear protective clothing, protective gloves and protective goggles.
A suction tube is needed to suck out the chemicals from the containers.
– Do not place the suction tube for the rinse aid in the container holding detergent defoamer, or vice versa.
– Use the suction tube only with sufficiently stable containers. Narrow and tall containers can tip as soon as the suction
tube is pulled.
– Do not pull on the dosing hose or main power cable, as this may lead to a defect.
Ø Wear protective clothing, protective gloves and protective goggles.
Ø Pull the suction tube carefully out of the empty canister.
Ø Check whether both vent holes (1) in the cover cap are open. Clean if required.
Ø Place suction tube in the new canister.
Ø Slide the cover cap slowly downwards until the canister opening is closed.
Ø Prime the dosing device.
Priming the dosing devices
The dosing device must be primed if air has entered the dosing hose. This occurs if the canister is not replaced in time.

Ø Press button 1, 2 or 3.
ð The button turns white.
ð The dosing device is primed.
Ø As soon as the button goes off again, exit the menu.
8.4 Replacing the solid detergent cartridge

Ø Read the hazard and safety notes on the cartridge and on the safety data sheet.
Ø Wear protective clothing, protective gloves and protective goggles.
Ø If an error message is displayed, check whether the cartridge is empty.
Ø If the cartridge is empty, replace it.
Ø If the cartridge is not yet empty, tap the cartridge to loosen the detergent powder.
Ø If the dosing line or funnel is clogged, contact a service technician.
