2.7 Handling of chemicals
Chemicals can cause severe chemical burns, eye damage and poisoning if they come into contact with the skin or eyes.
In the event of contact with the eyes or skin, wash thoroughly with tap water and seek medical attention if necessary.
Never drink chemicals or wash water or pour them into other containers.
Wear protective clothing, protective gloves and protective goggles when working with chemicals.
Read the danger and safety notes on the canister and safety data sheet.
2.8 Safety settings
The commercial warewasher has been built in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and is safe to operate.
Dangerous areas that cannot be excluded by design are fitted with safety devices.
Door limit switch
Table limit switch
All safety devices must be fitted and fully functional when operating the commercial warewasher.
Safety devices must not be changed or modified.
2.9 Heat pump (ClimatePlus option)
The heat pump of the ClimatePlus machine variant contains a flammable A2L refrigerant and flu-
orinated greenhouse gas in a hermetically sealed unit.
Verify that the heat pump is not leaking. Leaking refrigerant can collect near the floor. High concentrations of refriger-
ant carry a risk of suffocation due to lack of oxygen and can cause cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac arrest.
Protect the warewasher from sources of ignition, strong sunlight and heat sources.
Only store the warewasher in a well-ventilated, cool and dry location away from sources of ignition that are in continu-
ous operation (e.g. naked flames, gas appliances or powered electric heaters).
Do not store the warewasher near the suction openings of ventilation or air-conditioning systems, floor drains or open
channels.
Store the warewasher in a way that prevents mechanical damage.
Ensure that the refrigeration cycle cannot be damaged by external mechanical influences.
Do not transport the warewasher by air freight.
Only operate the warewasher near floor drains or open channels if these are equipped with a water-filled trap.
Do not subject the heat pump to severe shocks or vibrations.
Installation and maintenance work, repairs, work requiring access to the refrigeration cycle, leak tests and tasks re-
lated to refrigerant recovery may only be carried out by certified persons (in accordance with Art. 10 of the F-Gas
Regulation EU 2024/573).
Do not connect the exhaust air vent directly to the on-site exhaust air system.
On-site exhaust air systems must be suitable and approved for the extraction of flammable refrigerant-air mixtures.
After repairing leaks, have a further leak test performed after at least 24 hours and at the latest after 1 month.
Only carry out maintenance work in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
DANGER!Using incorrect components can put the refrigerant at risk of ignition. When repairing electrical com-
ponents, only use spare parts that have been specified and approved by the manufacturer.
If the system is installed in an unventilated area, the area must be designed to prevent any escaping refrigerant from
collecting in a manner that constitutes a fire risk.
Only install and operate warewashers with heat pumps in rooms that are at least 18m² in size (with a ceiling height of
2.5m).
