Positioning a 35mm Slide in Its Mask
1. To scan a 35mm slide, first position the 35mm mask on the
glass. Align the arrow at the corner of the mask with the arrow
on the scanner body.
Make sure the instructions on the mask for positioning 35mm
slides faces up.
2. Follow the printed directions on the mask and place the 35mm
slide horizontally into the slide holder.
Notice that the mask has a narrow slot next to the slide holder.
That slot is for calibration to assure that you get the best
possible scan results. Do not place items in the calibration slot.
3. Close the lid. You’re now ready to start scanning the slide.
4. See “Scanning a 35mm Slide or Negative from the TWAIN
Interface” on page 32 to start the scanning.
