Usage Summary
The System/Administration/Usage Summary window provides the
following information:
Item Description
Supplies Status Displays the statistics of consumable items in the
printer.
Page Information Displays printer statistics grouped by Sheets Printed
by Media Size, Sheets Printed by Media Type, Total
Normalized Counts and Normalized Coverage
Information.
Normalization
Information
Normalization is a calculation of coverage based on
a letter/A4 size page.
For example, Legal paper is 8.5x14 inches which is
roughly 1.27 times the area of a letter size page. If
the user were to print a legal page with a 10%
coverage of cyan, how many letter/A4 pages would
that coverage consist of for toner use concerns?
The answer is 1.27 times as much - or the toner
equivalent of 12.7% coverage on a letter size page.
