11.4 Adhesion diagnostic
function
Thelong-termmeasurementofadhesiveuids
mayadverselyaffecttheowmeasurementdue
to insulating materials adhering to the electrode,
which could cause the output vibration to increase
ormakeitimpossibletomeasuretheowrate.
This function checks the level of adhesion by
measuring the resistance value.
NOTE
Adhesion Diagnostic Function
• Thisfunctiondiagnoseadhesionusing
electrode resistance values.
• Theresultofadhesiondiagnosisisdisplayed
at K12:Adh Measure Value.
• When“Adhesioncheck”hasbeensetfor
B41/H11:DisplaySelect2 or B42/H12:
Display Select 3, the diagnose adhesion
is indicated on the display unit using four
different levels.
• IfthejudgmentvalueforLevel3is
exceeded, a warning is displayed; and if
the value for Level 4 is exceeded, an alarm
or warning is displayed depending on the
setting condition at G29.
• Availableconductivityforthisfunctionis
limited to 10 µS/cm.
Make sure to use the adhesion diagnostic
function with the greater conductivity than
the above mentioned value.

• Adhesiondiagnosisshouldonlybecarried

by closing the valve.
• Flowmeasurementisnotperformedduring
execution. While adhesion diagnosis is being
carried out, normally a current of 4 mA is
output. When adhesion diagnosis is carried
out, change the control loop to the manual
moderst.
