DRIVE BELT TENSION INSPECTION
The correct tension of each belt is
assured when the belt is deflected 5 mm
after pushing on the belt by force 25 N.
CYLINDER HEADS RETORQUE
Cylinder heads are retorqued at cold
engine in the prescribed cross sequen-
ce. The torque is 167 to 177 Nm.
VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT
AT ENGINES Z 5202, Z 6202, Z 7202, Z
7702, Z 7302
Engine valve clearance is adjusted at
cold engine. The correct valve clearance
at suction and exhaust valve is
0,25“ 0,05 mm.
At change of rocker arm movement
cylinder rocker
arm changes
cylinder rocker
arm is adjusted
1st 4th
3rd 2nd
4th 1st
2nd 3rd
At the engine Z 5202, after rocker arm
changing, turn the crankshaft by one
revolution (360°) and do adjusting.
