SAFETY REGULATIONS WHEN
WORKING WITH PTO
Take care for proper assembly of
all covers and guards. Always re-
assemble the PTO shaft guard
after finishing of work. Connect
and disconnect the cardan shaft
only after definitive stopping of
PTO shaft.
Disconnect the PTO drive by the
hand lever - upper position (fig. A
93) before starting the tractor
with attached machine.
Unauthorized persons must not stay
between tractor and attached machine.
WARNING FOR WORK WITH PTO
It is recommended to shift the reverse
control lever into forward position and
main shifting lever into neutral when
working with PTO at stopped tractor
equipped with reversor. It is recommend-
ed not to work with engaged fourth and
fifth road speed gear when the reversor
shifting lever is in reverse position R for
backward drive at tractor equipped with
such reversor.
PTO INDEPENDENT AND GROUND
SPEED SHIFTING
a - PTO ground speed ( PTO is driven
by transmission - PTO ground speed
depends upon the shifted gear. )
N - Neutral.
b - Independent PTO speed ( indepen-
dent upon tractor travel speed),
( 540 RPM- standard, 540 and 1000
RPM- option)
PTO speed is shifted at stopped engine.
PTO shifting lever handle is black.
