All components, whether in transportation, operation or storage, must
be in a noncorrosive environment.
GENERAL
WARNINGS
Electrical Shock Hazard During Maintenance
Disconnect power or take precautions to insure that contact with
energized parts is avoided when servicing.
Installation in Hazardous Locations
For general requirements on installation, rules for installing,
commissioning, maintaining and the appropriate use of
LD 810HSE Ex in hazardous atmospheres, see sections Installation
in Hazardous Locations on page 25 and Appendix C: Linking Device
for Zone 2 Explosion and Protection Environment on page 113.
The present manual does not supersede the relevant national
regulations, standards and directives. These must be observed and
have to be applied according to the national conditions.
Surface Temperature
During operation, the device surface will be heated up. Avoid direct
contact. When servicing, turn off the power supply and wait until
surface has cooled down.
Maintenance
Do not open the housing of LD 810HSE Ex. It does not contain any
parts that need to be maintained or repaired. In the event of a fault
or defect, return the unit to the Service Center. Opening the housing
will void the warranty!
User Password Security
The default user passwords must be replaced with passwords that
conform with your organization's security policy at the first possible
opportunity. Failure to replace the default password makes the
system susceptible to unauthorized access.
