3.3.4 Communication objects Fan E, F, G
Note
All three fan speeds can also be individually parameterized as outputs E, F and G. The descriptions of
the communication objects for this can be found under Communication objects Switch actuators E,
p. 228, communication objects Output F, p. 228 and communication objects Output G, p. 228.
The setting options are described in Parameter window Enable output E...H, p. 123.

This communication object is enabled if the parameter Enable direct operation has been selected with the option Yes in
Parameter window E, F, G: Fan (Multi-level), p. 124, and the parameter Enable communication object "Switch speed" 1-byte
has been selected with the option DPT 5.001 in Parameter window Direct operation (Multi-level), p. 143.
With this communication object, the fan can be switched on via a 1 byte communication object of a fan speed. If another fan
speed is switched on, at this point it will be switched off. The new fan speed is switched on taking the start-up phase into
consideration.
Limitations through forced operation or one of the four limitations 1…4 are retained. Automatic operation is disabled.
communication object Automatic ON/OFF reactivates automatic operation.
The thresholds set in the parameter window Thresholds that define the fan speeds 1, 2 and 3 are valid.
