1 Enter the Application Setting by pressing left selection
key twice. Press 6HOHFW using the left selection key.
2. Select the appropriate type of load using navigation
keys.
3. Press 6WRUH6HW and 1H[t to continue or %DFN to previ-
ous parameter using the selection keys.
4. Set the Setting Ie using the navigation keys.
In Line connected = rated motor current
Inside Delta connected = 58% ( ) of the rated
motor current.
5. Press 6WRUH and 1H[W to continue or %DFN to previous
parameter using the selection keys.
6. Set the required overload class using the navigation
keys.
7. Press 6WRUH and 1H[W to continue or %DFN to previous
parameter using the selection keys.
8. If an external by-pass contactor is used set ([W%\3DVV
to <HVusing the navigation keys. (PST30...300 only).
9. Press 6WRUH and 1H[W to continue or %DFN to return to
previous parameter using the selection keys.
10.Select <HV if ready or 7XQH6HW if ramp times, initial
voltage, current limit etc. needs to be adjusted using
selection keys.

1 Switch on the main voltage.
2. Give start command to the softstarter.
(To start the softstarter from the keypad, enter the
LOCAL CONTROL menu, select 6WDUW6WRS and press
6WDUW. The motor must be stopped before leaving this
menu.)
