Description of the display symbols
Your insulin pump is functioning (flashing symbol)
Standard/Scroll bolus (quick delivery)
Extended bolus (delivery over a programmed period of time)
Basal rate programming – profile A
Basal rate programming – profile B
Current basal rate of basal rate profile A
Current basal rate of basal rate profile B
Temporary basal rate increase
Temporary basal rate decrease
Caution: If you use the scrolling function, make sure that the entered va-
lues are correct. Your insulin pump gives only an initial single beep while
scrolling.
The word scroll is used in the instructions when the scrolling function is available.
Display
The display of your insulin pump shows you all its functions and presents important
information.This section describes how the display works and the symbols and num-
bers it uses.
Caution: If you discover incomplete characters or numbers in the display,
perform a system check of your insulin pump by removing the PowerPack
for a few seconds. Reinsert the PowerPack. If your insulin pump does not
beep as described, or if individual numbers, letters, symbols or lines are
shown incompletely or not at all, your insulin pump needs to be returned
since you may not be notified of any changes of your insulin pump in a
timely manner. Please contact your Accu-Chek customer service center for
insulin pumps for support.
