To put your insulin pump from RUN into STOP
1. Make sure your insulin pump is in RUN and the KeyLock is
deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
2. Press
d
2 times.
The -S-- symbol flashes.
3. Press
f
to stop the insulin delivery.
Your insulin pump beeps a melody followed by a long beep
and goes into STOP.
Info: If you do not press
f
within 20 seconds*, your insulin pump auto-
matically returns to RUN (timeout).
If your insulin pump is put into STOP during the delivery of an
extended bolus, this bolus is cancelled and an “Alert A8: Bolus
Cancelled”occurs.
Silence and confirm the alert by pressing
f
twice.
Please refer to section 7.1.8 “Alert A8: Bolus Cancelled” for fur-
ther information.
If your insulin pump is put into STOP during the delivery of a
temporary basal rate, this temporary basal rate is cancelled and
an “Alert A6: Temporary Basal Rate Cancelled”occurs.
Silence and confirm the alert by pressing

twice.

* This parameter may vary based on the standard configuration of your insulin pump
and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.
5.1 Start and stop insulin delivery
When your Accu-Chek D-TRONplus insulin pump is in STOP, it does not deliver insulin.
When your insulin pump is in RUN, it delivers insulin every 3 minutes following the
programmed basal rate. Boluses may be programmed when required.The insulin de-
livery is only stopped if an error occurs or if your insulin pump is put into STOP, which
is necessary, for example, when changing the cartridge, adapter or infusion set or for
data transfer. Functions such as extended bolus or temporary basal rate are inter-
rupted by putting your insulin pump into STOP.
To put your insulin pump from STOP into RUN

deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
