KeyLock
Your insulin pump is equipped with a unique KeyLock function that can be activated
or deactivated.
The KeyLock function allows you to lock the four Accu-Chek D-TRONplus insulin
pump keys and serves as additional safety measure against unintentional activation
of Accu-Chek D-TRONplus insulin pump functions (for example by children, while
sleeping, during sports, etc.).

Caution: If the KeyLock is activated, the keys must be temporarily un-
locked before the KeyLock can be deactivated or any other programming
of your insulin pump can be performed.
Please refer to section 6.8 “KeyLock” for further information.
Timeout
If you are undecided about selecting a function or changing a value, wait 20 seconds*
and your insulin pump automatically returns to STOP or RUN (timeout).
The changes you just made are not saved.
Remaining cartridge content
Your insulin pump allows you to easily check the remaining cartridge content (insulin
remaining in the cartridge in units) while in STOP or RUN.
To check the remaining cartridge content
1. Make sure that the PowerPack is inserted, the function “prime
the infusion set” has been programmed and the KeyLock is
deactivated or the keys are unlocked.
2. Press
f
once.
Your insulin pump beeps according to the operating status
one long or three short beeps and the remaining cartridge
content in units is displayed.
After 4 seconds, your insulin pump automatically returns to
STOP or RUN and beeps according to the operating status
one long or three short beeps.
* This parameter may vary based on the standard configuration of your insulin pump
and changes made using the Accu-Chek DiaLog Pump Programming tool.
