After inserting the PowerPack, your insulin pump performs the following start-up
procedure:
• The display indicates the software version (i.e. 3.00) and 77.
Your insulin pump beeps a sequence of three and two short
beeps.
• The display shows the internal PowerPack test (1, 2 or 3).
There is no specific meaning related to these figures or any
action needed dependent on the figure displayed.
• If the remaining cartridge content is lost from the memory,
the piston rod returns.
Your insulin pump then performs the following self-test:
• All segments are shown on the display.
Your insulin pump beeps a sequence of three and two short
beeps and vibrates once.
Caution: If during the “pump self test” your in-
sulin pump does not beep a sequence of three
and two short beeps and/or does not vibrate
once, please contact your Accu-Chek customer
service center for insulin pumps.
• The numbers in the three number groups go from 0000 to
9999.
Check if the numbers appear completely.Your insulin pump
beeps a melody to inform you that the start-up procedure
has ended.
• Your insulin pump returns to STOP. If your insulin pump is
left in STOP, the STOP-Warning is given every minute.
3. Place your insulin pump upright on a level surface and rotate
the adapter anticlockwise into the replace position.
4. Loosen the PowerPack by turning it anticlockwise using the
battery tool.
5. Remove the PowerPack from your insulin pump.
6. Take the new PowerPack out of its package by pushing it
through the cardboard.
7. Insert the new PowerPack into the PowerPack compartment.
8. Carefully rotate the PowerPack clockwise to the mechanical
stop using only the battery tool (approx. 1/8 rotation). Do not
over-tighten.
