3.5 Operating the engine (HONDA)
3.5.1 Starting the engine
Move fuel tap (3) to «ON».
Move choke lever (2) to «CLOSE».
Adjust engine speed control lever (1) to full load.
Move engine switch (5) to «ON».
Pull starter handle (4) slightly until a resistance is felt, then pull
out sharply.
Allow engine to warm up for 1 ... 2 minutes.
As the engine warms up, gradually move the choke lever (2)
to «OPEN» position
3.5.2 Switching off the engine (HONDA)
Adjust engine speed control lever (1) to idle position.
Turn motor stop button (4) on to position «OFF».
Turn fuel tap (3) to «OFF».

3. Operation
Important
To prevent engine damage through oil deficiency, the
engine is provided with a low oil warning system. If the
oil level is too low, the engine switches off
automatically (the engine switch remains in the ON
position).
Attention
Do not allow starter handle to rebound against the
engine. Guide starter cable back by hand to the
reset position.
Do not operate choke lever if engine is warm or at
high outside temperature.
Important
In emergency situation turn the engine switch on to
«OFF» to stop the motor immediately.
