VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE
HEADLIGHT BEAM
NOTE Beam inspection procedures may
vary from country to country. Observe the
law in force in the country of the user.
To set beam height:

Working on the central lower side of the
headlight fairing, use the 8-mm fork
spanner to turn bolt (1).
TIGHTEN (clockwise), to raise the beam.
SLACKEN (counter clockwise), to lower
the beam.
BULBS
Carefully read page 43
(MAINTENANCE).
Before changing a bulb, turn the
ignition switch to position "
".
Change the bulb wearing clean
gloves or using a clean and dry cloth.
Do not leave fingerprints on the bulb,
since these may cause its overheating
and consequent breakage.
If you touch the bulb with bare hands,
remove any fingerprint with alcohol, in
order to prevent it from blowing.
DO NOT FORCE THE ELECTRIC
CABLES.
