9.9 Special function „cycle locked“
With this function, the central lubrication system can easily be locked by an external signal transmitter if the lubrication is
done for machine orvehicle parts that are onlylubricated when they are active.If machines or vehicle partsare partly shut
down, the cycle is locked. The green LED in the control unit window blinks (see 12.3 signals of the integrated control unit
PICO-tronic).
If this case happensduring alubrication, the lubrication is finished.Afterwards the lubrication process islocked. Whenthe
lockis released,the cycle isprocessed fromwhereit hasbeen interrupted.

If the special function „ “ is used, the function „ “ iscycle locked adaption to operating conditions
notpossible.
9.10 Error „lubrication deficit“
The error of a lubrication deficit occurs, if the lubrication can not be finished during the cycle duration (see fig. 28). This
means the pump needs more time for the lubrication process, than is available by the cycle duration. If this is the case in
more following cycles, the control unit signals an error (see 12.3 signals of the integrated control unit PICO-tronic). The
controlunit doesnot switch offthe pumpas alubrication deficit isbetter than nolubrication.
Ifa completelubrication is finishedwithin a followinglubricant cycle,the control unitreset the errorautomatically.
10. Assembly instructions
10.1 Assembly of the central lubrication pump PICO with integrated control unit PICO-troniX1 or PICO-tronic
Check the central lubrication pump for possible transport damage and for completeness before the assembly. Any
installedequipment fortransportation safety hasto be removed.
Comply with the following conditions for assembly of the central lubrication pump in order to obtain a properly built
togethermachine ofall parts withoutcompromise of safetyor persons'health:
· Observe the dimensionaldrawing andthe details offastening drillings.
· When selecting the set-up location, please mind that the central lubrication pump should be
protectedagainst ambientaland mechanic influences
· Ensure full access,e.g. forfilling with lubricant.
· Special measures concerningnoise preventionor oscillation reductiondo not haveto betaken.
