3.3 Hazards in case of non-observance of the safety instructions
Results of non-observance of the safety instructions can be hazards to persons, the environment and for the
central lubrication pump. Non-observance of the safety instructions may result in the loss of any liability
claims.In detailthe non-observance couldentail the followinghazards:
· Failure of importantcentral lubricationpump functions
· Failure of prescribedmethods formaintenance and repair
· Danger to personsby electrical,mechanical and chemicaleffects
· Danger to theenvironment byleakageof hazardoussubstances
3.4 Obligations of the operator / user
· If movable, rotating, hot or cold parts of the central lubrication pump bear risks, the customer must protect
theseparts againstcontact.This protection mustnot be removed.
· Any leakages of hazardous substances must be drained in a way that no risks for persons or the
environmentarise.
· Keep to alllegal provisions
· Hazards due toelectricity areto be excluded
· Examination of pipes and hoses regarding safe provision, use, proper assembly and function has to be
carriedout accordingto regionally applicabledirectives. Inspectionintervalsmay notbe exceeded
· Defective pipes orhoses mustbe replaced immediatelyand professionally
· Hydraulic hoses and polyamide pipes are subject to a natural aging-process and thus have to be
exchangedin regularintervals according tothe manufacturer's specifications
· Asafety data sheetof the currentlyused lubricantmust be providedat the centrallubrication pump
3.5 Safety instructions for maintenance, inspection and assembly
All and may only be carried out by who ismaintenance, inspection assembly work qualified personnel
sufficientlyinformedby thoroughreading of theuser information.
Generally any work complete standstillat the central lubrication pump may only be carried out at and in
pressureless disconnected condition personal protectiveas well as . Furthermore appropriate
equipment (goggles among others) is necessary. The shutdown procedure of the central lubrication pump
asdescribed inthe manual mustbe strictly followed.
Secure the central lubrication pump against intentional or unintentional recommissioning during
maintenance or repair.All safetyand protectionarrangements haveto beput backin place again immediately
afterfinishing work.
Environmentally hazardous media must be disposed of professionally and in correspondence to relevant
legal provisions. and have to be cleaned before maintenance. PleasePolluted contaminated surfaces
wear protective equipment to that purpose. See the lubricant manufacturers' safety data sheets hereto,
respectivelythe datasheets provided bythe manufacturers ofauxiliaries andworking materials.
