Apply grease <GREASE BZL-301> specified by Brother to the portions indicated by the white arrows.

while lightly pressing the thread take-up
support shaft

Fit the chamfering side of the slide

into the groove on the slide
block
guide.

After securing the needle bar, position the slide
block
guide so that the machine pulley turns
smoothly, and then tighten the bolts.
Align
the set screw with
the screw stop.
