This chapter explains a few preliminary
steps and basic operations of the EOS-
1V which you should know before you
start taking pictures. If you will be using
the camera for the first time, read this
chapter first.
If you are familiar with the basic
operations of EOS cameras and want to
start using the camera right away, see
“Quick Start with Program AE” on page
29.
Before You Start
Attaching the Strap
Pass the end of the strap through the
camera's strap eyelet and the strap's
clasp on the under side. Pull the strap to
make sure it does not slip out of the
clasp.
