[F.WIDE]:
The image is expanded so that the
rectangle of the image fits to the screen
(16:9). The aspect ratio of the image may be
changed.
[WIDE]:
The image is expanded in the same way as
the [F.WIDE] setting, but the width will
become narrower. Depending on the image
data, black areas may be displayed at the
both sides of the screen.
[CINEMA]:
The image is expanded so th
at the top and
bottom edges of the image fit to the screen.
Suitable for letterbox-format images.
Subtitles of non-letterboxed images may be
cut off in this mode.
[NORMAL]:
The image is expanded so that the top and
bottom edges of the image fit to the screen,
and that the aspect ratio of the image
becomes 4:3. The aspect ratio of the image
may be changed.
● Setting the VTR system (NTSC/PAL)
* The factory default setting is “NTSC”.
Note:
• This setting is applied only to the AUX/iPod video
input.
● Setting speaker output for cell
Phones
When the AUX1 input terminals is used to
connect an AUX BLUETOOTH BB (BLT370)
(sold separately):
* The factory default setting is “Right”.
* To output the telephone calls, set cell phone
interrupt to “On”.
• Right: Telephone calls can be heard on
the front right speaker connected to this
unit.
• Left: Telephone calls can be heard on the
front left speaker connected to this u
nit.
● Cell phone interrupt setting
If you connect this unit and your cell phone with
an optional cable, you can listen to your calls on
your speakers.
When the AUX1 input terminals is used to
connect an AUX BLUETOOTH BB (BLT370)
(sold separately):
* The factory default setting is “Off”.
• Off: This unit continues normal operation
even when the cell phone is used.
• On: Telephone calls
can be heard from
the speakers connected to the unit.
* When listening to calls on your speakers,
turn the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the
volume.
• Mute: The sound from this unit is muted
during telephone calls.
Note:
• If connecting a hands-free kit, make sure the
setting is ON to receive telephone audio through
the system.
● Setting title scroll method
Set how to scroll in CD-TEXT and MP3/WMA/
AAC titles.
* The factory default setting is “All Time”.
• Off: Not scroll.
• One Time: Scroll 1 time only.
• All Time: Scroll automatically.
● Performing the System Check
You can perform the system check by the
following operation.
A confirmation screen is displayed, then the unit
returns to the previous operation mode.

3-1. Press the [ENTER] button.
3-2. Press the [X] or [V] button to select
“F.WIDE”, “WIDE”, “CINEMA” or
“NORMAL”
4-1. Press the [ENTER] button.
2-1. Select “NTSC/PAL”.
3-1. Press the [ENTER] button to select “NTSC
”
or “PAL” to set the VTR system.
2-1. Select “Tel-Speaker”.
3-1. Press the [ENTER] button to select “Right”
or “Left”.
2-1. Select “Tel-Switch”.
3-1. Press the [ENTER] button to select “Off”,
“On” or “Mute”.
2-1. Select “Title Scroll”.
3-1. Turn the [ENTER] button.
3-2. Turn the [UP/DOWN] knob to select “Off”,
“One Time” or “All Time”.
2-1. Select “System Check”.
3-1. Press
and hold the [ENTER] button.
