Method of
Malfunction
Detection
A compressor startup failure is detected by checking the compressor running condition through
the position detection circuit.
Malfunction
Decision
Conditions
" The compressor fails to start in about 15 seconds after the compressor run command signal
is sent.
" Clearing condition: Continuous run for about 5 minutes (normal)
" The system will be shut down if the error occurs 16 times.

" Compressor relay cable disconnected
" Compressor itself defective
" Outdoor unit PCB defective
" Stop valve closed
" Input voltage out of specification
Troubleshooting
Check No.13
Refer to P.211
Replace the outdoor unit
PCB, outdoor unit fan.
Replace the outdoor unit
PCB.
Reconnect as specified.

Correct the power supply or
replace the outdoor unit
PCB.
Replace the compressor.

or parts damage may be occurred.
