SNMP security
You can configure SNMP set commands to use SNMP read-only. Digi recommends changing the public
and private community names to prevent unauthorized access to the Digi device.
Configuration management
Once a Digi Connect and ConnectPort TS Family device is configured and running, you may need to
periodically perform the following configuration-management tasks:
n Copy configurations to and from a remote host
n Perform the following on the Digi device:
l Update the firmware
l Reset the factory settings
l Manage the device files and memory
l Reboot the device
