Security
The Color C60/C70 IOT and/or Integrated/EX Fiery includes the following security features:
Active features:
• Print job submission utilises IPsec.
• Secure Scan transmits files using HTTPS (SSL)
• IPV6 support - accept or deny connections from a specific IP address.
• 802.x support - IEEE Standard for Information technology. 802.1x Port Based Network Access Control ensures that
devices that are connected to the network have the proper authorisation.
• Secure Login – Device Access Password Protection ensures administrative set-up screen.
• IP Address Restriction (IP Filtering) controls communications with specific network clients.
• Encryption Communicated pathway and Encrypted PDF Direct Print.
Features with configurable parameters:
• Disk Encryption – Uses state-of-the-art AES 256-bit encryption to secure hard disk drive (HDD) data to avoid threats of
unauthorized retrieval/use of document data stored in the internal HDD. Disk Encryption is automatically disabled,
but can be enabled by the System Administrator; refer to the System Administrator Guide for specific instructions.
• Image Overwrite –Forces any temporary image files created during a copy, print, scan or scan to email job to be
overwritten when those files are no longer needed during normal processing, or "on demand" by the system
administrator. Hard Disk Data Overwrite is automatically enabled, but the system administrator can set the
overwrite parameters; refer to the System Administrator Guide for specific instructions.
Centerline Paper
The Color C60 / C70 Printer is designed using Fuji Xerox media described below as a “Centerline Paper”. “Centerline Paper”
is recommended to ensure generating the best image quality from the Printer. It delivers optimum performance in each
category of product specification. Other paper brands or weights may alter the print engine’s capability.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the Color C60 / C70 Printer supports a broad range of media. Please keep in
mind, however, that using only Fuji Xerox-recommended media maximises reliability and paper-handling performance.
All references to media capacity and performance in this document are based on centerline paper. You will see the term
“Centerline paper” several times in this document.
Centerline stock refers to 90gsm Xerox Colotech+.
Parameter Setting Corresponding Each Media
In order to maintain optimum throughput and image quality, the Color C60 / C70 offers parameter setting, which
customers can control. There are several parameters for adjustment, such as, alignment,
perpendicularity, skew, scale, print position and so on, corresponding to characteristics of each media.
Adjusted values can be saved as “profile” for recurring jobs. Please refer to product User Guide for more details.
Note: Paper quality may vary and influences print capability depending on paper manufacturing lot or storing. Please do
not store paper in a place with high temperature and humidity.
