7. Pull the thermostat capillary out of the rear
panel hole or holes.

8. Mark and disconnect the 10 wires from the
upper oven switch and remove the thermostat
from the range.
Thermostat
A thermostat is used on double oven models in the
upper oven cavity.
To remove the thermostat:
1. Remove the oven door. (See Oven Door Removal.)
2. Remove the rear cover. (See Rear Cover.)
3. On Profi le and GE models, remove the cooktop.
(See Cooktop.)
4. On Café models, remove the right side panel.
(See Side Panel.)
5. Compress the thermostat capillary clips to
remove them from the back wall of the oven
cavity.
6. Unsnap the thermostat capillary from the clips.
