Tire pressure
should be dJOCked
when the tires are
cold.
Check the tires for cuts, embedded nails, or othe r
damage.
Check the front (page 14-9) and rear (page 15-9)
wh ee ls for trueness.
Check the cold tire pressure.
TIRE PRESSURE :
FRONT: 98 kPa (1.0 kgf /c m ~ , 14 psi)
REAR : 98 kPa (1.0 kgf /c m l. 14 psi)
Inspect the whee l rims and spokes for damage .
Tighten any loose spokes and rim locks to the speci-
fied torque .
TOOLS:

Spoke wrench, 6.1 mm
REAR :
Spoke wrench, 6.6 mm
TORQUE:

Raise the front wheel off the ground by placing a
wor k stand or equivalent unde r the engine.
8e sure the control Check that the handlebar moves freely from side-to-
