TOP COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Attach the fuel tank cap just after removing the top
cover.
Remove the starter grip from the rope guide on the
handlebar (base shop manual 62VH300 page 12-2).
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. You
can be burned or seriously injured when handling
fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks and flames away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.

Remove the screw to remove
the spring nut.
