CHOKE REPLACEMENT
Remove the carburetor (page 5-6).
Pull out the choke valve [1].
Remove the following.
– Choke lever [2]
–Spring [3]
Install the following new parts.
–Spring
– Choke lever
Insert a new choke valve plate into the slit [4] in the
choke shaft.
Be sure the choke shaft is in position between the
projections [5] of the choke valve.
CARBURETOR STUD BOLT
REPLACEMENT
Remove the carburetor (page 5-6).
Thread two nuts onto the carburetor stud bolt [1] and
tighten them together, and then use a wrench to turn
the stud bolt out.
Install new stud bolts with the short threads facing the
cylinder [2] and tighten them so the length is within
specification.
