A.1 TRANSMITTER UNIT AND SENSOR
TheApexTransmitterUnitisdesignedtooperatewiththeCertiedSensorsspeciedinthetables
laterinthissection.TheCertiedSensorsaredesignedsothattheyallhaveacommonelectrical
interface to the Transmitters Unit. The cartridge data is digitised and processed into a gas reading
bytheCertiedSensor.Thedecisiononwhethergasalarmsarepresentisalsomadewithinthe
CertiedSensor.
