SPM Flex Gas Detector
Storing the detector
When storing the detector with the power adaptor/charger plugged in, the rocker
switch can be left in the on position; the battery will continue charging� The
detector can also be charged with the rocker switch off�
When storing the detector without being plugged into the power adaptor/charger,
turn the rocker switch off� This will minimize the power� This is the recommended
setting for long-term storage or for transporting the detector� Charge the detector
at least four hours every three months�

cartridges
Follow the instructions on the cartridge label for acceptable storage
temperatures and expiration dates�
Recycling
At the end of its usable life, return the detector to Honeywell Analytics for
recycling�
