A communication or network issue occurred.
Action
1. Attempt to connect to iLO through the web browser. If you cannot connect, there is a communication
issue.
2. Attempt to ping iLO. If you are successful, the network is working.
3. Try the firmware update again.
Solution 2
Action
Try a different firmware update method.
iLO firmware update error
Symptom
iLO notifies you that the last attempt to update the firmware was unsuccessful.
Cause
An incorrect file was used to update the iLO firmware.
Action
To reset the flash process, click , and then try the firmware update again with the correct firmware file.
If you do not clear the error, the same error might occur even when you use the correct firmware file.
iLO firmware update does not finish
Symptom
An iLO firmware update remains at 1% complete and does not finish.
Cause
The iLO web interface stopped responding.
