Before removing the power button, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and Rubber Foot Kit on page 31).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34).
Remove the power button:
1. Push the power button into the computer (1).
2. Remove the power button arms (2) from the clips (3) that secure the power button to the computer.
3. Remove the power button from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the power button.
