NOTE: The TouchPad spare part kit does not include the TouchPad cable. The TouchPad cable is available
using spare part number L51092-001.

Before removing the TouchPad , follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and Rubber Foot Kit on page 31).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34).
Remove the TouchPad:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the TouchPad (1).
2. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (2) that secure the TouchPad bracket to the top cover.
3. Remove the TouchPad bracket from the computer (3).
4. Remove the three broad head Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (4) that secure the TouchPad to the top cover.
5. Remove the TouchPad from the computer (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the TouchPad.
