Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and Rubber Foot Kit on page 31).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34).
4. Remove the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 35).
5. Remove the solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive on page 40).
6. Remove the USB/audio board (see USB/audio board on page 54).
Remove the system board:
1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1) Power connector cable
(2) Webcam (CCD) cable (ZIF)
(3) WLAN module antennas
(4) Speaker cable
(5) Display cable (ZIF)
(6) Power button board cable (ZIF)
(7) Keyboard cable (ZIF)
