Remove the PCI riser board assembly
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server or expansion boards, power down the server and
remove all AC power cords before removing or installing the PCI riser board assembly.
1. Power down the server (on page 16).
2. Remove the server from the rack (on page 16).
3. Remove the access panel (on page 17).
4. Disconnect all internal cables connected to existing expansion boards.
5. Remove the PCI riser board assembly:
a. Remove the T-10 screw.
b. Remove the T-15 screws.
c. Remove the riser board assembly.
Install the PCI riser board assembly
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server or expansion boards, power down the server and
remove all AC power cords before removing or installing the PCI riser board assembly.
