Expansion Board
NOTE: The procedures described below apply to all SCSI hot-plug, SCSI non-hot-plug, and SATA hot-
plug models.
To remove an expansion board:
1. Complete the preparation procedures. Refer to “Preparation Procedures” earlier in this
chapter.
2. Remove the access panel. Refer to “Access Panel” earlier in this chapter.
3. Disconnect any cables connected to the expansion board.
4. Remove the IO locking bracket.
a. Lift the bracket up.
b. Rotate the bracket outwards to detach it from the chassis.
