– Adjust the headlight range by pivoting the headlight.
Guideline
The boundary between light and dark must be exactly on
the lower marking for a motorcycle with rider (instructions
on how to apply the marking: Checking the headlight set-
ting).
Info
If you have a payload, you may have to correct the
headlight range.

Tighten screw

15.10 Changing the combination instrument
Preparatory work
– Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 107)

Remove screws

with the washers.
– Pull the combination instrument upward out of the holder.

Using a coin, turn protection cap

all the way counter-
clockwise and remove it.

Remove combination instrument

– Insert the new battery with the label facing outward.

– Check the O-ring of the protection cap for correct seating.
