Removal
!MWARNING
Lifting Equipment
You can be injured if you use faulty lifting equipment.
Make sure that lifting equipment is in good condition.
Make sure that lifting tackle complies with all local
regulations and is suitable for the job. Make sure that
lifting equipment is strong enough for the job.

1 Fully tilt the skip and safely support using suitable
blocks or lifting tackle.
2 Remove locking bolt A and drive out the rod end pivot
pin, taking care to support the ram.
3 Operate the tilt lever to retract the ram and lower the
ram onto the machine chassis.
4 Stop the engine and ensure that all hydraulic
pressure is released from the system by operating the
tilt lever.
5 Disconnect and plug the hydraulic feed hoses B.
6 Support the weight of the ram.
7 Remove the trunnion block securing bolts C on both
sides of the ram and withdraw both trunnion blocks.
8 Lift the ram clear of the machine.
Replacement
Replacement is a reversal of the removal procedure.
Grease all pins with JCB Special HP Grease.
