Changing the Oil - Lombardini Engine
!MWARNING
Hot oil and engine components can burn you. Make
sure the engine is cool before doing this job.
Used engine crankcase lubricants contain harmful
contaminants. In laboratory tests it was shown that
used engine oils can cause skin cancer.

!MWARNING
Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause
engine damage. Check the oil level with the engine
stopped.
MD-1-1-14
1 Place a container off sufficient capacity beneath the
drain plug (to catch the oil).
2 Remove the oil filler cap B and the drain plug C. Let
the oil drain out.
3 Clean and replace the drain plug.
4 Fill the engine with new oil through the filler

Lubricants and Capacities ( T 3-8). Check the
level on the dipstick A.
5 Wipe off any spilt oil. Check for leaks. Make sure that
the filler cap B is correctly refitted.
