Skip Mechanism
Removal and Replacement
General Notes
When removing all the components of the lift mechanism
from the machine it is recommended that the procedure
should be done in the sequence given, i.e. remove the link
first followed by the outer arms and then the inner arms.
Take care to support the mechanism as necessary during
removal and replacement using suitable wooden blocks
and use a crane and sling to lift the components away from
the machine.
!MWARNING
Lifting Equipment
You can be injured if you use faulty lifting equipment.
Make sure that lifting equipment is in good condition.
Make sure that lifting tackle complies with all local
regulations and is suitable for the job. Make sure that
lifting equipment is strong enough for the job.

After refitting the components to the machine, grease all
pivot points K
Lubricants and Capacities ( T 3-8).
Start the engine and operate all services to check for
hydraulic oil leaks and correct function of the mechanism.
