1. To compare settings, read the settings data from the camera into the
EEPROM Utility window as demonstrated earlier. Click the Comparison
button on the EEPROM Utility toolbar.

2. The Open window appears. Choose the file that is appropriate for your
camera. You may find the name of the appropriate file by clicking the Help
button and reading the help file that is included with the Service Support
System software.
3. After you have opened the default settings file the Information window
appears. This window displays the number of differences between your
camera and the file. Click the OK button in the Information window.
