Performance Verification 13-13
2. Select the multimeter DC volts measuring function, and enable auto-range.
3. Select Channel #1 by pressing the
â–²
and
â–²
keys to toggle between Channel #1 and
Channel #2, then select the 5mA readback range and actual current reading data.
4. Turn on the Model 2306 output.
5. Verify 5mA range current readback accuracy for the currents listed in Table 13-6. For
each test point:
• Set the Model 2306 output current to the correct value, as determined fr
om the digital
multimeter voltage reading and 3kΩ resistance value. Note that it may not be possible
to set the output current to the exact value. In that case, set the current to the closest
possible value, and modify reading limits accordingly.
• Allow the reading to settle.
• Verify that the actual Model 2306 current reading is within the limits given in the table.
1. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for Channel #2 (use the
â–²
and
â–²
keys to toggle between
Channel #1 and Channel #2).
