Ice Maker Top Components
REMOVING TOP
1. Unplug ice maker or disconnect power.
NOTE: To access control board, UI board, transformer or
water level switch, the top must be removed. To remove the
top, the swing door must be removed rst. See Installation
Instructions on Page 2-9.
2. Begin by removing the 2 Phillips head screws in the top
front of the machine. See Figure 19.
4. Unsnap water tube on the reservoir cover. Disconnect
the wire harness plugged into the right side of the control
housing. See Figure 21.

3. Remove the 2 hex head screws located in the back of
the unit. Raise the top.
NOTE: Lay a board across the cabinet under the top and
then cover with a protective blanket. The board and blanket
are needed to provide a working area when the control
compartment is separated from the top. See Figure 20.
