4. Put blocks in front of and behind the wheels and secure the
machine with chains or wire rope of a suitable strength to
prevent the machine from moving during transportation.
5. Always retract the car radio antenna fully.
METHOD OF LIFTING MACHINE
WARNING
When lifting the machine, if the wire rope is not fitted correctly, there is danger of the machine falling and causing serious
personal injury or death. Raise the machine 100 to 200 mm (3.9 to 7.9 in) from the ground, then stop and check that the machine
is horizontal and that there is no slack in the wire ropes.
When lifting the machine, always stop the engine, apply the parking brake, and set the articulation lock to the LOCK position
to ensure that the front frame cannot articulate.
When using a crane for the lifting operation, the crane must be operated by a qualified person.
Never raise the machine with any worker on the machine.
When carrying out lifting operations, always use a wire rope or lifting equipment that is of ample strength for the weight of the
machine.
Never lift the machine at a position other than the lifting position or in a posture other than the posture given in the lifting
procedure.
Never go under a raised machine.
CAUTION
When the machine is raised, check that there is no oil leakage from the hydraulic circuits.
