– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 53)
– Remove the front wheel. ( p. 106)
– Remove the fork legs. ( p. 57)
– Remove the start number plate. ( p. 66)
– Remove front fender. ( p. 66)
– Take off the handlebar cushion.

. Detach the wiring harness.

– Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and
place to one side.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against dam-
age.
Do not kink the cables or lines.

– Remove the upper steering head bearing.
