1.
Stop the engine and apply the parking brake.
2.
Loosen the cover retaining knob and remove the
cover.

Inspect the foam precleaner without removing it.
NOTE:
•
Do
not wash the paper element.

Wash the precleaner
in
warm water with detergent.
Rinse the
precleaner thoroughly until all traces of
detergent are
eliminated. Squeeze out excess water
(do not wring).
Allow the precleaner to air dry.
3.
Saturate the precleaner with new engine oil.
Squeeze
out
all
excess oil.
4.
Reinstall the precleaner.
5.
When the precleaner replacement
is
necessary, order
genuine
KUBOTA parts.
