Loudspeaker congurations
Line source with low-frequency element
A L2/L2D line source can be deployed with additional subwoofer enclosures to extend the bandwidth in the low-end or
increase sub-low resources.
The [L2 xxxxx] / [L2D xxxxx] presets deliver a reference frequency response in long throw applications with horizontal
directivity settings and cardioid or supercardioid LF polar pattern. Refer to Line source (p.47).
The [KS28 L2] preset provides an optimal frequency coupling of the subwoofers with the L2/L2D line source in separated
or coupled conguration.
KS28 can be driven by LA12X / LA2Xi amplied controllers.
Reduced maximum SPL or drive capacity with LA2Xi: refer to the LA2Xi owner's manual.
Two deployments are available in this conguration:
• KS28 behind the L2/L2D line source (recommended)
• KS28 beside the L2/L2D line source (if behind is not possible)

Use [xxxx_xx_C] or [xxxx_xx_Cx] on a reversed subwoofer in a cardioid conguration
The cardioid conguration consists in reversing 1 element in an array of 4 subwoofers.
Refer to the subwoofer owner's manual and to the Cardioid congurations technical bulletin.
Delay values
Do not forget to add the pre-alignment and geometric delays depending on the conguration.
