Tochangethestartupsettingsofyourcomputer,selecttheStartuptabfromtheThinkPadSetupmenu.
Attention:
Afteryouchangethestartupsequence,ensurethatyouselectacorrectdeviceduringacopy,asave,ora
formatoperation.Otherwiseyourdatamightbeerasedoroverwritten.
IfyouareusingtheBitLockerdriveencryption,donotchangethestartupsequence.BitLockerdrive
encryptionlocksthecomputerfromstartingoncedetectsthechangeofstartupsequence.
Tochangethestartupsequencetemporarilysothatthecomputerstartsfromadesireddrive,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Turnonthecomputer.WhentheLenovologoisdisplayed,presstheF12key.
3.Selectthedevicethatyouwantthecomputertostartfrom.
Note:TheBootmenuwillbedisplayedifthecomputercannotstartfromanydevicesortheoperating
systemcannotbefound.
ThefollowingtableliststheStartupmenuitems.Defaultvaluesareinboldface.Themenuitemsmight
changewithoutnotice.Dependingonthemodel,thedefaultvaluemightvary.
