1.StarttheThinkPadSetupprogram.See“UsingtheThinkPadSetupprogram”onpage73.
2.SelectStartup➙BoottodisplaytheBootPriorityOrdersubmenu.
3.Selectthedrivethatcontainstheoperatingsysteminstallationprogram,forexampleUSBHDD.
4.PresstheF10keytoexittheThinkPadSetupprogram.
5.Connectthedrivethatcontainstheoperatingsysteminstallationprogramtothecomputer,andrestart
thecomputer.
6.Installthedevicedriversandnecessaryprograms.See“Installingdevicedrivers”onpage73.
7.Afterinstallingthedevicedrivers,applyWindowsUpdatetogetthelatestmodules,forexamplethe
securitypatches.
8.Dependingonyourpreference,installLenovoprograms.ForinformationaboutLenovoprograms,
